Professional Dreamer
Philippe grew up in a coastal town in Brittany, France. Looking out at the ocean he always dreamed of what might be on the other side of the horizon.
When his grandfather gave him a book on Buddhism and spirituality in Japan, the seeds of a lifelong passion were planted and his vision took shape. When he finally visited Japan for the first time at age 25, he fell in love with the country. As he describes it: “For reasons I couldn’t explain, I felt at home.”
A job opportunity led him to move to Japan in 2000. It took him some years to find his footing, but when a series of events inspired him to begin organizing vision-building and leadership training for executives in his company, he knew he’d found his calling.
